How does OppsPlace select its companies and jobs?

OppsPlace has invited a broad range of Fortune 100 companies that are committed to Diversity and Inclusion to be a part of its groundbreaking online community. These companies then feed their open jobs to OppsPlace based on openings within their respective organizations. 

I cannot login. What might I try?

Be sure your keyboard's "Caps Lock" feature is not "on" inadvertently as passwords are case senstive.

If you are "copying and pasting" your password into the password field during login, try typing the term in the password field versus pasting the value in the field.  Copying and pasting can easily pull in extra characters without the user even realizing that they are entering the wrong information.

Try the "forgot password" resource.  Enter your email and if not found, the system will advise.  This might mean that you are trying to login using an invalid email address. If you are entering a valid email address, after forgot password is used, you will see on-screen messaging indicating that the password has been reset and mailed to the user.

If I "thumbs up" an employer or job, will that be visible to anyone viewing my profile?

OppsPlace understands that our Professionals want their job search activities to remain confidential. If you click "thumbs up" to a company, or to a company's job, your interest will only be visible to you on your profile and to the company that you gave the "thumbs up" to in the system.

How do I change my OppsPlace password?

To change your password, simply log into OppsPlace using your current login ID and password.  Click on the "Profile" tab at the top of the screen and select "My Profile". Once you are in your profile, select "Edit" and then change your password in the "Account Controls" fields near the bottom of the profile edit screen.

What is Resume builder and how does it work?

Resume Builder is a step by step tool that helps you build resumes from system templates.  As you build a resume, the system will pull in basic information from your OppsPlace.com profile (e.g., Education, Name, etc.).  Please see the attached document for further information on how to use the resume builder tool in OppsPlace.com.

How often are new jobs posted on OppsPlace?

Companies post jobs daily on OppsPlace.  To find the most current list of jobs, click on the jobs tab on the left side of the page.  You can also filter your job search by keyword, company name, location or other attributes.  We encourage you to check daily for new jobs posted to the system.  if you are interested in a particular company, you can also find jobs on that company's profile page.
